The Last Flight
HOLY. SHIT. That was epic.
I normally don’t read thrillers…and if I do, they are of the psychological variety. I was captivated from the very first page.
Claire is the wife of a rich and abusive husband who is making the cross into politics as his mother did before.
Eva came from a childhood in foster care after her mother gave her up. She now makes a good living by working in her old college town.
At an airport, the two have a chance encounter that has them saying *insert GIF of Lindsay Lohan in Parent Trap saying “We should switch places.”
Both have something they’re running from. Both are actually destined to meet. Only one lives after their switch.
Throughout the book there were so many places and characters I had no clue how this was all going to be tied up in the end, but it was done in a way with everything wrapped up effectively.
My heart was palpitating the whole time and THIS will be a top summer (or all of 2020) read I’m sure!
