Fall Math Centers

Place Value Pumpkins is a fun fall math center for students to practice place value. There are 20 pumpkins with the written form on it. The object of the center is to match the seeds with the numbers, expanded form and base ten blocks to the correct pumpkin. Great for fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving or anytime. With Apple Even or Odd students will practice solving two digit addition problems and then sorting the apples into the even or odd basket.

Candy Corn Fact Families is a fun Halloween math center for Halloween or any time of the year. Students match 3 equations to make a fact family. This center comes with 30 different fact families! Turkey Addition and Multiplication Spinners is the perfect math center for practicing either multiplication or addition! This includes numbers 0-12, 54 different spinners, a sample sheet with one spinner, as well as a recording sheet for both multiplication and addition. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to play Turkey Spinners! This center includes over 54 different turkey spinners. Students will use a pencil and paperclip to make a makeshift spinner and solve the equations they create. This is a fun center to do in small groups as there are more than enough spinners for each student.

Fall ELA Centers

Parts of Speech Pumpkins is a great ELA center to practice sorting parts of speech. This center includes five pumpkins for nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and pronouns and 108 pumpkin seeds to sort! Great for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving!

Halloween Candy sentences is another center that can be made interactive and is a fun center that can be perfect for Halloween! Students sort complete sentences and fragments and then make the fragments complete.

Candy Corn synonyms and antonyms is a fun game for hands on learning. Great for Halloween!

Another Halloween center also uses candy…corn! With Candy Corn Synonyms and Antonyms, students will put together pieces of a candy corn to make a word match its synonym and antonym.

Parts of Speech Pie Game is a fun and quick game for students to practice their parts of speech. This comes with 3 plates and 3 pies. This center us great for fall, Thanksgiving, PI Day or anytime of the year!

Finally, Parts of Speech Pie is great for Thanksgiving time. Students sort pie slices with the plate that has the correct part of speech to create a whole pie! Hint: this center is also great for PI Day!
