Cubes Method Aid

The CUBES method is a strategy used by many educators to help students solve math word problems. This includes circles that are made into a portable aid for students to use when solving word problems! Great for individual use or small guided math groups!

CUBES Method:

Circle the key numbers.

Underline the question

Box any math action words.

Eliminate what information isn’t needed.

OR

Evaluate information and make a plan.

Solve and then check, does it make sense?
