Sanity Saving No Prep Activities for the Entire Year for the Teacher

|

Get ideas for second grade math and ELA activities that are no prep and digital! With bundled units or even mega bundles, you can have activities for the entire year at anytime!

Chances are if you are reading this you have been a teacher for some time and you know that back to school can have you wondering how you will survive. You may also remember the days of having to read through every single workbook in your arsenal to find just one lesson… and then fold the book just right to make a copy of the page.

Then if it was double-sided, you would run that same copy through again. This was all done with several other teachers breathing down your neck to finish so they too could do this fun task. How on earth were you going to survive back to school as a teacher?! If you couldn’t make your copies for just one lesson without Mrs. Moody scoffing at you, what was the plan for Halloween. And Christmas. And so on!?

Back to School No Prep= No Stress!

Fast forward to now. Nowadays, you can have activities by just pressing “print”. It’s called no prep, and it’s been a lifesaver for so many teachers. Imagine having a year’s worth of math and ELA activities that could be used for virtually anything. I know it sounds too good to be true or like some magical spell that you had no access to( we can’t all be Mrs. Harry Potter). However, this life saving tool is a reality! You might be a veteran teacher still trying to make copies the old way, or maybe you are the new teacher who has yet to tango with the dreaded copy machine. Either way, I can help!

That’s where my Year Long No Prep and Digital Units come in! These units are chock full of second-grade concepts that can be used all year long….even in summer for retention. Cover everything from pumpkins to leprechauns with one resource. The units get slightly harder as the year goes on so you students will be challenged more and not just have the same addition and subtraction problems for the year.

With my units you can either print the number of pages you need, or print one master copy and later make copies when needed. OR, yes, there is an or, you can assign slidesto Google Classroom! This way you can survive back to school without all the added stress.

Ideas for No Prep…or Digital!

These activities can be used for so many things such as:

  • Morning work
  • Homework
  • Test review
  • Small groups
  • Centers
  • Holiday fun
  • Seasonal activities
  • and even last-minute sub plans!

Students will cover tons of concepts such as two and three-digit addition using fun codes.

Keeping kids engaged while practicing common math concepts can be boring. However, with Math Riddle Codes, your students will have fun solving equations and then get a laugh once they solve the riddle! This is a bundle of all my math codes and includes 17 no prep versions and 17 digital versions! Cover multiple seasons and holidays for the entire year!

Creative writing doesn’t have to be a problem anymore as all you have to do is print or assign a digital slide!

Have students draw or write what they will be for Halloween.

Students will have a fun time on Halloween by using Batty Base Ten. After rolling a dice two times, they draw the base ten blocks and then write the number in expanded form.

Batty Base Ten: Roll a die to make a two-digit number, then draw the base ten blocks and their expanded form.

Or find missing addends around Christmas time.

Missing Moose-stakes is a fun way for students to practice finding missing addends. Great practice for December!

You’ll have activities to teach regrouping even!

Somewhere over the rainbow, students will master regrouping. With Rainbow Regrouping this concept can be practiced even more! Perfect for a St. Patrick's Day math activity!

If you are tired of trying to find fun activities for the year that cover concepts such as regrouping, elapsed time, prefixes, complete sentences, word problems, homonyms, context clues, money, and so much MORE, then look no further!

If you are looking for no prep printables for the entire year, look no further! Your second grade students will be able to practice many concepts in math and language arts. With over 470 pages of activities/worksheets tailored towards second grade standards you wil be set for winter, spring, summer, and fall! Cover tons of holidays all while having fun and engaging lessons for so many concepts! These activities can be used for morning work, homework, sub plans, review, and much more!

The ability to have a stress-free year is available in 3 different options!
